Friends and fellow citizens, I am grateful for the support that has helped me become your state representative. As your state representative, it is my job to make sure the voices of everyone in the 85th Ohio Legislative District are heard - no matter what your political beliefs; no matter whether you voted for me or for my opponent.

I promise to everyone in the 85th Legislative District that I am representing you to the best of my ability. I want to earn your continued trust and support and will work hard for you and listen to what you have to say. I also will continue to work on the issues on which I campaigned:

• Working to stop funding education through property taxes.
• Supporting efforts to ensure that everyone in Ohio has access to affordable health care and prescription medicines.
• Working with business, labor and government to promote economic development that provides family supporting wages and benefits.
• Addressing the issues our senior citizens face every day, such as skyrocketing prescription drug costs and increasing food and energy expenses.
• Serving as advocate for veterans, active duty troops and members of our National Guard and military reserves.

No single person or political party can solve the problems facing our families, our communities, our state and our nation. I promise to work in a nonpartisan way in the state legislature to build a better Ohio and a better America.
